Shepherd.

Suddenly had this topic in mind bahh

What does it really means to be a Shepherd? Well... Been hearing quite a few quesntions from some ppl who just came to know Christ. And well, when im still a new believer, i asked the same few questions. But the indept i had never thought of it before. I know what to do and so on. But how does it really help?

Saw DeWen's Blog on him wanting to be a more "Holistic Shepherd". Caring his sheep also about their family lives and not just growth. And saw a few other's blog about having the desire to be a Good shepherd and so on.

Well.. I'm not going to tell how to be a shepherd cause im not in the right to say that and of course, i posted this due to the questions i had in mind.

Well.. A Shepherd helps to carry his sheep's burden. Well.. Its been known that yeh, a shepherd won't burden his sheep and only his sheep. But does this mean that the sheep have no rights to know the shepherd's personality but only the shepherd does to know about the sheep? Does this enable the sheep to gain trust from their shepherd if they don't even know who their shepherd is?

Someone did ask me this question before. Can a shepherd and sheep become a spiritual buddy? Well... This question pop into my mind as well. A spiritual buddy is to help each other grow. But if a shepherd and sheep becomes spibuds, doesn't this make the relationship too one way and make the relationship of a spibud a bit too awkward?

Yeh yeh.... Do state your point of view on the tagboard... Yeh yeh.... But regardless of all these, LOVE YOUR SHEPHERD! They are doing a lot for you so do treasure them ^^
